This is a movie that I think any basketball fan will enjoy. It's two hours long, but I didn't get bored while watching it. It will remind you of your high school years, especially if you played basketball in school or were on the school team. I highly recommend watching it.

In the movie Samuel L. Jackson plays a character who stands up against traditional gender roles, strict beliefs, and homelessness. He helps a group of teenage basketball players, along with their parents, to become more sophisticated and mature. I saw the movie years ago and when I watched it again recently, I still thought it was a great movie.

I watched a movie multiple times and one of the scenes I kept coming back to was when the team was trash talking and mocking each other during a match. Samuel L. Jackson was in the scene, but it was still so good that I could watch it a thousand times.

For one of the most beautiful songs in the movie, it is not included in the soundtrack. The song is called "Let the Drummer Kick".

This is not a movie about basketball, but it is a movie about leadership that has a basketball theme.
