The most difficult part of changing your religious views on Facebook is dealing with the reactions from other people. Even online, there is a fear of not being accepted and pressure from your family and community. For example, even though I have been going to church every Sunday for 1.5 years, I am still listed as a Muslim on Facebook. My parents, uncles, aunts, and everyone else in my family are attached to me.

Some low caste Hindus in India are changing their religion in order to survive. Even though it is difficult, it is admirable that they are doing this in order to make their lives easier.

Changing your religion can be harder than not having any religion at all. Even if you change the religion section on your ID card, it doesn't make much of a difference if you don't change the way you live your life. Religion is a way of life, so if you don't change your lifestyle, nothing really changes.

I am curious if people will be as interested in this issue as they are when trying to switch cell phone providers. I believe that religions need to work with a government organization.

It's not as hard to do as switching the team you cheer for in football.
