globus hysteric

A lump in the throat is a feeling that can be caused by a variety of emotional states such as sadness, grief, and mourning. It is sometimes seen as a sign of anxiety and depression, and is more common in women. In rare cases, it can be severe and persistent enough to be life-threatening. It is important to distinguish this feeling from physical illnesses that can cause similar symptoms, such as getting a sore throat or hysteria, or feeling like there is a fist in the throat.
