In the irony method used by Socrates, the part that means rebirth is when the person is reminded that they already know the right thing. This is done by reintroducing their own idea back to them.
Socrates uses a method called irony to show how much he knows about a topic. He does this by asking questions to someone who believes they know nothing about the topic, as if he is trying to make them realize they know more than they think.
This is a way of finding out what someone is thinking by asking them questions in a way similar to Socrates. Not every teaching style works the same way. For example, it wouldn't make sense for Newton to ask his students questions to get his discoveries out of their minds, because they wouldn't have those discoveries in their minds in the first place. However, he could use this method to show his students how important scientific studies are.
