I'm not surprised that people in this country think of "cow facebook" when they think of science. People here tend to think of science as a way to make money during the hours of 8am to 5pm, rather than as a way to explore and discover new things. Despite this attitude, I still think science is quite advanced in this country.
I check an academic website every day to see who has read the statement I published for a conference. I was really happy when I saw that researchers from several different countries had read my article. We hope you get to experience the same feeling of satisfaction when you see the results of your hard work!
This is an organization that lets you keep up with the research that is being done in your field. You can read the abstracts and publications that researchers have submitted, and you can even request the full text. You can also connect with other people in your field from around the world and ask questions. In the citation section, you can see who has referenced your publications. Additionally, there is an endorsement feature similar to the one on LinkedIn, but it is not humorous.
Scientific Facebook is a great tool that makes it easier to find articles and announcements. It's amazing to be able to connect with professors you admire and ask them questions about their work without having to search for their articles. It's also very advanced compared to other platforms. Stick with Scientific Facebook!
