He was an incredibly honest man who took on the responsibility of leading an entire nation. He even sacrificed his son-in-law and became a key figure in the formation of the republic. He was a doctor, a soldier, and a patriot.

Sunay Akan is someone I recently learned about. His story is very sad and upsetting, but it was never talked about in the history classes I have taken over the years.

I was so sad that tears filled my eyes. I had heard from the president that something bad had happened, but I didn't really believe it or feel bad about it. But then I saw a video about a doctor who had gone to a battle at Ãanakkale expecting to die, but instead he survived and kept helping the wounded even though he was in a lot of pain. That's when I realized how serious the situation was.

Today we remember a person who has passed away. He was not able to get the medication his son needed, so he did not take a small amount of morphine. God is fair and just.

One of the brave people who fought in the Battle of Canakkale is being honored. May they rest in peace.

I believe he was an important part of the success of the 18 March victory at Ãanakkale. His difficult decision and inspiring story gave people goosebumps. We should remember him and honor his memory.

We will never understand how this nation began, what hardships were endured, and all the other things we don't know. We will never find out.
